Step Up For Students

Step Up For Students — EMA Marketplace Provider
Approved Provider — Step Up For Students

Use your Step Up scholarship for music lessons.

Flame Arts is an approved Step Up For Students provider. Florida families can now use scholarship funds for private, live online music lessons — piano, guitar and voice.

What this means

Your scholarship can pay for music lessons.

If your family has a Step Up For Students scholarship, you can use those funds to pay for your child’s music lessons with Flame Arts — the same way you would for tutoring, curriculum or other approved services.

We are listed in the EMA Marketplace as Flame Arts | Music School, under Elective Courses → Music Lessons. You reserve the funds through your EMA account, and we take care of the rest. No out-of-pocket payment, no reimbursement paperwork on your side.

Who qualifies

Four scholarship programs, all accepted.

PEP

Personalized Education Program — for homeschool families building their own curriculum.

FTC

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship — income-based support for private school and educational services.

FES-EO

Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options.

FES-UA

Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities.

Don’t have a scholarship yet? Many Florida families qualify and don’t know it. Applications are open at stepupforstudents.org — eligibility is determined by Step Up For Students, not by us.

The plans

Three plans. One standard.

Flame Support

$40 per lesson · $160/month

30-minute weekly private lessons, fully personalized to your child’s musical style — the music they already love becomes the material they learn from.

Flame Foundation

$45 per lesson · $180/month

30–45 minute weekly lessons with everything in Support, plus guided follow-up during the week and an interactive whiteboard with practice goals, available right after each class.

Flame Excellence

$65 per lesson · $260/month

45–60 minute weekly lessons including a music production module — recording, releasing and building the student’s own body of work.

Piano, guitar and voice — with music production, songwriting and performance. Private, live, 100% online. Ages 4 through 12th grade. Lessons available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Your teacher

Ten years teaching. Sixty-plus students.

Lessons are taught by Jefferson Cesar, founder of Flame Arts — ten years teaching music in Brazil and the United States, with more than 60 students over his career, ages 4 to 65.

He currently teaches 30 students, 25 of them across Florida — Miami, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Orlando.

As a performing artist, he is a 2024 Latin Grammy nominee for Best Christian Music Album as a member of Vocal Livre, holds a Gold Record for “Dias de Paz,” and is a Yamaha-endorsed artist.
